2018 Walk Route:

The course is a short 2.5 mile walk through the Northend starting at The Flying M Coffeehouse (100 W. Idaho St., Boise) and ending there, with a raffle to follow.

Raffle tickets will be available at select location for the following: $1 each or 6 for $5.

Registration is $20 per person if registered before June 9th. (Children 6 and under are free). The day of the walk pricing will be $25 unless you bring 5 items to donate to the local food pantry to receive $5 off.

 

 

The following items will be accepted for the food pantry the day of the event:

Canned fruit

Canned vegetables (esp. corn and green beans)

Instant potatoes

Pasta (elbow and spaghetti)

Flour

Sugar

Chili

Soups (cream soups and full meals)

Crackers

Pasta sauce

Fruit Juices

Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo)

2018 Fundraising Information:
All funds raised from the walk and the raffle go to support three charities helping those with HIV/AIDS within the Treasure Valley and Idaho:

1. The ISGCI Jimmy Moore Fund – with the express purpose of providing short-term medical assistance for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
2. The ISGCI Jerry Swett Fund – whose priority is given to living expenses and essential transportation, but is not limited to those alone.
3. The ISGCI P/P Pantry Fund – which has been providing food assistance to Idahoans living with HIV/AIDS in the form of food vouchers at area grocery store and contributions to food banks.
